I heard about geocaching several years ago, and intended to try it out, but never got around to it till recently. If you're not familiar with geocaching, click here for an explanation. But basically, it's a 'treasure hunt' using GPS receiver.

Technology + Nature = Geocaching

That is what I like about the sport. I am gradually working my way through the more 'woodsy' local caches. (A lot of the caches are in suburbia or even in town, which for me leaves the Nature out.)

One of the more interesting caches I have found was one that had been in a brush fire.
