Spring Break 1999
Here I am "power lounging" on Blackwater Creek in Lake County, Florida. My dad and I paddled from Katie's Landing on the Wekiwa River to the mouth of Blackwater Creek, then about a mile up Blackwater Creek (against the current) to this campsite.
Later on, I rested some more.
But all good things must end, so next morning, we paddled off to our next campsite.
Our next campsite was on the St John's River. (Yes, we did cheat and use the motor here, because my dad was coming down with a cold and didn't want to wear himself out.) This is the "beach" where we landed, and the trail into the campsite.
And here's our campsite. Okay! Okay! So we're not neatnicks.
After dinner chores on the river. What was that ripping sound?
Ah, finally down to business.
It's a bummer going back home, but SOMEONE's got to play the Nintendo 64.
